Gozzoburg Palace is regarded as one of the most important medieval inner-city buildings in Austria. Its varied history begins in the 13th century. The palace is the unique residence and official palazzo of Gozzo, a Krems citizen, who was a city magistrate and chamberlain of the sovereign estate.
Gozzoburg Palace is still impressive today for its exquisite artistic decorations. In addition to the heraldic hall, the chapels of St. John and St. Catherine are of special interest.

Johanna Lier, born 1962, is a Swiss writer, artist and actress. In 2018 and 2019, she spent several months on the island of Lesbos, researched at Moria refugee camp and wrote a book about this experience. Recently published: Amori. Die Inseln, 2021. |

Taner Türker is a cello soloist and chamber musician. He studied in Ankara, Lyon and Vienna and has given international performances. His cello repertoire includes all genres from Baroque to modern music. |

Günther Buchinger set up the initiative Denkmalforscher for research about architectural- and art history. In recent years he has carried out specialist research on Gozzoburg Palace and written about its architecture. |
