On Mozart’s trail through Krems and Stein invites you to join a short walking tour of Stein an der Donau. The tour incorporates various historic residences, courtyards and churches and the ensemble of medieval and baroque buildings that are now part of the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site of Wachau. This pre-Advent evening walking tour ends with music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at the Klangraum Krems Minoritenkirche.

The Köchel Promenade includes, among others, the birthplace of Ludwig Richard von Köchel who was born in 1800 in Stein. Köchel’s catalogue to this day presents the complete chronological list of Mozart’s life’s work.

Albert Hosp is a music journalist and moderator for the radio channel Ö1. He is artistic director of the Glatt & Verkehrt Festival in Krems an der Donau.

Severin Endelweber (viola) and Gregor Reinberg (violin) are musicians from Krems an der Donau.
