Exhibitions featuring the artists Adrian Paci and Teresa Margolles document pride and beauty in the greatest existential danger and forsakenness. They take a side for those who are excluded from society. For Adrian Paci, the topic is about refugees, emigration, the loss of communities and the search for a new identity. Teresa Margolles examines the situation of transgender prostitutes in Ciudad Juárez, the city with Mexico’s most violent attacks.

In cooperation with Kunsthalle Krems and AIR - ARTIST IN RESIDENCE Niederösterreich.

Adrian Paci, b. 1969, is an Albanian artist. His exhibitions include shows at the MoMA PS1 in New York, the Folkwang Museum in Essen, Jeu de Paume in Paris and twice at the Venice Biennale.

Teresa Margolles,

Teresa Margolles, b. 1963, is a Mexican artist. Her exhibitions featured at the Tate Modern in London, Guggenheim Museum in New York and the 2019 Venice Biennale.
