Ljuba Arnautović, born in 1954 in Kursk (Soviet Union), is an Austrian writer, translator and journalist. Her second novel Junischnee (June Snow) relates the story of her father, who was in a generation of Austrian Schutzbund children; he arrived in Moscow from Vienna and only returned decades later. After the German attack on the Soviet Union, he was sent to the Gulag. Recently published: Junischnee, 2021.
